'ALL SAINT'S CHURCH'. HUNMANBY.(11th. century.) Shown in Domesday as 'one church, one priest'. Good reason to believe an earlier Saxon church on this site. c.1150. 'Fortress' tower and porch added. 13th. cent. North nave added. 14th. cent. Roof lifted and large (present) windows added. 16th. cent. Tower lifted and bells added. 17th. cent. Osbaldeston vault beneath chancel built. 1840's. Church restored and clock added to tower. 1870. 'Admiral's Arch' built at entrance in memory of Admiral Mitford, a descendant of the Osbaldeston's and the last true Lord of Hunmanby Manor to live at Hunmanby Hall.
